My photography started out as a way to document my travels. I love traveling and I started going on trips to national parks and scenic areas throughout the western United States. After awhile, I wanted some way to preserve my memories of these amazing places, so I got my first serious camera. Initially my photographs were purely documentary and I was even against editing because I saw it as corrupting the images. However as I started studying other people's photos, I saw the tremendous potential of editng and from that my images became more of an art. My passion for photography kept growing until I got laid off from my job fixing computers and decided to go to school to get my BS in photography. Now I see myself as someone with a skillset not many having, a computer expert and artist.
